PAUL + SUE

Paul and Sue have spent nearly two decades serving in Southeast Asia. Their focus as a family since coming to Asia has been to equip and strengthen the Church.

At times that looked like being on a donkey carrying bibles, leading teams across different countries in Asia to pray and bless the land, or working alongside the house churches of Vietnam, equipping them with evangelistic materials (books, tracts, DVDs, etc.).

Their focus has been on envisioning the Church with a heart for the nations and getting outside the church building to reach the world. They've helped lead prayer groups, schools of ministry, and schools of missions. During this time, they always encouraged the students to be industrious, to look for ways they could support themselves, and not look to the church for all their support/income. While encouraging them to do this, they felt convicted to lead by example.

Paul and Sue worked at times to get a visa to live in their current country but now feel they are to pursue business as a way to provide some income for themselves while modeling Kingdom business to local believers. This is also to show that “secular work” is also a calling and provides just as much ministry opportunities as “spiritual work.”
