Students Serves Week 2022 Recap
Thank you for your prayers!
Last week was a tiring but exciting week for 22 of our middle and high school students. They learned about what it means to serve and had the opportunity to serve some of Southbridge’s ministry partners (Hope Reins, Raleigh Dream Center, Gateway Women’s Care, and Durham Rescue Mission).
It was incredible to witness students stepping out of their comfort zone and experiencing what it means to have a heart to serve our community. Yes, students worked hard cleaning, scrubbing, and organizing, but they also had opportunities to engage with leaders from our ministry partners and a wide spectrum of people in need from our community.
As you see these students, encourage them. Ask them where they served, what they did, and what the week meant to them.
Southbridge, thank you again for your prayers. I’m grateful for a church that desires to see and use students to connect people to Jesus for life change.
