As a child gets older, their church experience in kids ministry can be too young and sometimes too “simple.” And in student ministry, younger students can find their church experience too intimidating. 5th and 6th graders are caught “in-between” and are looking for something in the middle of kids and student ministries.

Southbridge created a space for our 5th and 6th graders to wrestle with deeper theological issues, share more freely, question a little longer, and if they want to—just be a kid. We want to come alongside to help them grapple with more challenging questions about life, their culture, and their faith.

The weekly gathering of 5th and 6th graders includes a time of fellowship for the students, teaching from the Bible, small group discussions.
