2023 Mission Trip Locations
Southbridge is all about connecting people to Jesus for life change. We emphasize our efforts in Raleigh because we believe God has put us here to reach our city. However, God also calls people to leave Raleigh to connect people to Jesus for life change around the world all the time.
Mission trips at Southbridge are opportunities for us as a church to come alongside ministries and people sent out from our body (missionaries) to connect people to Jesus around the world.
Below you’ll find a list of three Southbridge-sponsored mission trips scheduled for the summer of 2023. Official dates will be finalized in November of 2022.
We recognize that God works beyond Southbridge’s “official” mission trips. If God calls you to participate in a trip through another ministry or organization, let us know, so we can discuss how we can support you.
Panama
During this trip, we will partner with Heart’s Cry Children’s Ministry (heartscrychildren.com). They provide orphan care, family services, and run Casa Providencia, an orphanage for kids with special needs. Trip participants will play and love on children at the orphanages and do various service projects at Casa Providencia and other orphanages.
Madagascar
During this trip, we will partner with Nathan + Tessa Baker (bakerstorycraft.com), Southbridge missionaries sent through IMB in 2017. They primarily work with local Malagasy churches. Trip participants will help with leadership training, evangelism, and Bible storycrafting. Not open to mission trip first-timers.
Brazil
During this trip, we will partner with Laura + Felipe Matias, Southbridge missionaries who have served in Brazil for 15 years. Trip participants will help with evangelism, kid’s programs, and poverty relief in the slums.
