Guest Speaker – Dan Dumas
This Sunday, October 22, we welcome guest speaker Dan Dumas to Southbridge. Dan last spoke at Southbridge in November of 2017.
Dan is passionate about all things leadership, strategy, adoption, expository preaching, biblical manhood, and being an idea-generating organizational leader.
He has served in numerous roles, including Special Advisor for Foster Care and Adoption to the Governor of Kentucky, Lead Pastor at Christ Church (Bardstown, KY), Executive Pastor at Grace Community Church (Sun Valley, CA), and Senior Vice President of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He continues to serve as a special advisor to the President of Southern Seminary and a Faculty member in the Doctorate of Ministry in Executive Leadership.
He is also the author of Live Smart, the co-author of A Guide to Biblical Manhood, and the editor of A Guide to Expository Ministry. Dan actively writes on Leadership at Leaders Don’t Panic and provides a variety of coaching and consulting for businesses, organizations, nonprofits, Universities, NGOs, government agencies, churches, and their leaders.
Prior to his time in ministry, Dan served in the US Navy as a search and rescue swimmer.
Dan is married to Jane and has two children: Aidan and Elijah.
