It’s time for us as His followers to experience spiritual transformation that leads to gospel saturation.
Over the next 10 years, in RDU we desire:
1 Million People Impacted
100,000 Transformed Lives
1:1 Encounters
How Do We Accomplish This Vision?
People
We want to create a culture of discipleship at Southbridge, structuring all ministry activity around the Discipleship Pathway: 1) Encounter Jesus, 2) be Connected to Jesus and others, 3) be intentionally Equipped to grow to spiritual maturity, and 4) Multiply by making disciples of others.
To assist in the Discipleship Pathway, we have identified three Mission Measures (or outcomes):
Partnerships
We want to go into our community and proclaim the good news of Jesus by building bridges through partnerships. Through our ministry partnerships, like Raleigh Dream Center, Hope Reins, Safe Families, our apartment outreaches at The Bridges and Stonecrest, and Gateway, we will be able to engage lost and broken people where they are more easily. We also believe there is tremendous value in developing partnerships with like-minded churches in the area.
Plants
We want to discover, develop, and deploy church planters and plant new churches in RDU to connect people to Jesus for life change. Our area continues to experience rapid growth, with thousands of new residents arriving every year. We must face the reality that the capacity of the current churches in the area is insufficient to meet the growing needs.
