He earned his Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a youth pastor, family minister, and now leads as the Discipleship and Family Pastor at Immanuel Church in Tennessee.

She discovered that way through living by the truth of God’s Word and by loving like Jesus. Mary teaches others to do the same through her book, Uncommon Love: God’s Heart for Christian Parents of Gay Kids, and through her ministry of the same name.
